This webpage is dedicated to sharing research-grounded insights on emerging issues in economic policy, with a particular focus on open economy macroeconomics and monetary policy dynamics. It also covers the intersecting domains of climate economics, geopolitics, and technology- areas increasingly integrated with economic analysis and consequential for real-world outcomes.
I am Vimarsh Padha, a PhD researcher in Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, specialising in spectral and wavelet-based approaches in international finance. My research interests extend to quantitative finance, where I engage with problems at the interface of financial markets, time-series econometrics, and policy-relevant inquiry.
This space reflects my passion for economics as a lens to understand the forces that shape everyday life — from exchange rate dynamics and central bank decisions to the economic underpinnings of climate transitions and technological disruption. Everything discussed here is grounded in credible, verifiable research, and I aim to engage with these issues with the rigour they deserve.
I am open to collaboration with fellow researchers and thinkers who share a similar curiosity and commitment to evidence-based analysis on issues that matter.
Happy Reading!
